MAC All-Time Scoring Leaders Update – 3/5/21

The high school basketball career of one of the best girls basketball players in the Midwest Athletic Conference history came to an end last night, in the OHSAA Region 16 semifinal, at Vandalia-Butler High School. Ivy Wolf, from Minster High School, ended her high school basketball career with 20 points in her final game and 1,685 total points for her career, which made her the all-time leading scorer in girls basketball at Minster High School, passing Lauren Shenk (1,671) and put her in 3rd place on the Midwest Athletic Conference girls basketball all-time scoring list, passing Lauren Shenk and Justine Raterman (1,673), from Versailles High School.

Ivy will be attending Miami University and will play for the RedHawks women’s basketball team. Congratulations on a tremendous career at Minster High School and best wishes at Miami University!

2020-21 Girls Basketball Tournament Results – 3/4/21

Congratulations to Minster’s Ivy Wolf on becoming the all-time leading scorer in girls basketball at Minster High School with 1685 total points, passing Lauren Shenk (1671) and passing Justine Raterman (1673), Versailles, and finishing her career in the number 3 spot on the Midwest Athletic Conference all-time scoring list in girls basketball.

Congratulations to the Minster Lady Wildcats on a tremendous season; Midwest Athletic Conference team champions, Sectional champions, District champions, Division IV Region 16 semifinalists.

MAC All-Time Scoring Leaders Update – 2/26/21

The high school basketball careers of three very good players in the Midwest Athletic Conference came to an end over the previous week.

In girls basketball, Paige Gaynier ended her high school basketball career with 1,376 total points, which made her the all-time leading scorer in girls basketball at St. John’s High School and put her in 13th place on the Midwest Athletic Conference girls basketball all-time scoring list.

In girls basketball, Heidi Rethman ended her high school basketball career with 1,014 total points, which put her in 8th place on the girls basketball all-time scoring list at Marion Local High School and 46th place on the Midwest Athletic Conference girls basketball all-time scoring list.

In boys basketball, Dylan Hughes, from Parkway High School, ended his high school basketball career with 1,215 total points, which put him in 20th place on the Midwest Athletic Conference boys basketball all-time scoring list.

Congratulations to these three Midwest Athletic Conference student-athletes on their accomplishments and best wishes in the future!

Midwest Athletic Conference 2020-21 All-Conference Girls Basketball Teams

Congratulations to the Midwest Athletic Conference 2020-2021 All-Conference Girls Basketball Teams (see link below).

Minster’s Ivy Wolf was unanimously voted the Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year, this is the third time she was voted Midwest Athletic Conference Girls Basketball Player of the Year (2018-2019, 2019-2020 & 2020-2021).

2020-2021 MAC Girls Basketball Team Champions – Minster Lady Wildcats

Congratulations to the Minster Lady Wildcats, Coach Wiss and his assistant coaches on their 2020-2021 Midwest Athletic Conference girls basketball team championship. They finished the conference schedule with a perfect 9-0 record, it is the Lady Wildcats 16th MAC girls basketball championship, all outright. The seniors on this team were part of two MAC girls basketball championships, a 2nd place finish and a 3rd place finish, they had a 33-3 record in Midwest Athletic Conference games in their fours years of competition.
