Justin Carr Urbana University Football (Anna) – Carr is a reserve offensive lineman as a freshman for the Blue Knights which saw their record finish out at 6-5 overall with a 40-8 win over Central State.  Carr didn’t see any action on the field in the Central State game.
Craig Hoying University of Findlay Football (Anna) – Hoying is the reserve outside linebacker as a sophomore for the Oilers which saw their record finish up at 7-4 overall and 6-4 in the conference with a 41-28 loss to Ashland.  Hoying had 0 tackles in action off the bench in the Ashland game.  Hoying has played in all 11 games and has a total of 15 tackles, 2 of which were for a loss.
Tony Harlamert The Ohio State University Football (Coldwater) – Harlamert is a preferred walk-on and scout team player as true freshman did not see action in the 21-10 win over Michigan.  Harlamert did not see any action this season.  Ohio State is now 10-2 and the Big Ten Champions.  The Buckeyes will play in the Rose Bowl on January 1st.
Adam Homan The Ohio State University Football (Coldwater) – Homan who is the backup fullback and a starter on special teams as a true freshman did not record a tackle while playing special teams during the 26-17 win over Oregon in the Rose Bowl.  Homan has played in 12 out of 13 games and recorded 2 tackles on the season.  Homan was named Academic All-Big Ten.  Ohio State finished up 11-2 and ranked 5th in the country and the outright Big Ten Champions.
Ross Homan The Ohio State University Football (Coldwater) – Homan who is the starting middle linebacker as a redshirt junior had a team leading 12 tackles and 1 interception in the 26-17 win over Oregon in the Rose Bowl.  Homan led the team in tackles with 108 and was tied for 1st on the team in interceptions with 5.  He also had 5 tackles for a loss and had 2 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries and 1 forced fumble on the season.  Homan was voted on the 2nd team All-Big Team by both the media and coaches and he was also named Academic All-Big Ten. Ohio State finished up 11-2 and ranked 5th in the country and the outright Big Ten Champions.  Homan was projected as a 3rd round pick in the upcoming NFL draft but chose to come back to Ohio State for his senior season.
Melissa Kahlig Alderson Broaddus College Volleyball (Coldwater) – Kahlig is playing as a middle hitter as a freshman for the Battlers which finished their regular season with a record of 22-16 after a loss to Wheeling Jesuit in the WVIAC Tournament Championship match.  No individual statistics were available.
Dustin Kuess Heidelberg University Cross Country (Coldwater) – Kuess is running cross country as a freshman for the Berg and was a reserve runner who did not run in Heidelberg’s 18th place finish out 32 teams at the NCAA Championships at Cleveland.  Dustin ran in 4 meets in 2009 and had a best time of 19:52.00 at the Dragon / Berg Invite.
Jamie Kuess Heidelberg University Cross Country (Coldwater) – Kuess is running cross country as a senior for the Berg and was a reserve runner who did not run in Heidelberg’s 18th place finish out 32 teams at the NCAA Championships at Cleveland.  Jamie ran in 5 meets in 2009 and had a best time of 19:43.00 at the Dragon / Berg Invite.
Cody Muhlenkamp Ball State University Football (Coldwater) – Muhlenkamp is the starting long snapper as a junior for the Cardinals who are at 2-10 and 2-6 in the MAC on the season as they finished up the season with a 22-17 win over Western Michigan.  Muhlenkamp has played in all 12 games and recorded 1 tackle this season.
Jordan Rode Thomas More College Football (Delphos St. John’s) – Rode is a reserve kicker as a freshman for the 10th ranked Saints which finished the season with a record of 11-1 overall and 9-0 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference with a 31-29 loss to Johns Hopkins in the 2nd Round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs.  Rode did not see any action on the field for the season.
Brad Wannemacher Tiffin University Golf (Delphos St. John’s) – Wannemacher is on the varsity team as a freshman for the Dragons.  The fall season is now complete with the spring season starting up on March 6th.
Frank Thien Ohio Northern University Football (Fort Recovery) – Thien is a reserve wide receiver as a freshman for the 13th ranked Bears which finished the regular season at 8-2 overall and 7-2 in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 52-14 win over Wilmington.  Thien did not see any action in the Wilmington game and saw limited action on special teams with 1 kickoff return for 10 yards in 5 games this season.
Megan Barhorst Cleveland State University Volleyball (Marion Local) – Barhorst is seeing playing time as a middle hitter as a sophomore for the Vikings which finished the season with a record of 26-8 overall and 13-3 in the Horizon League with a 3-1 loss to Milwaukee in the Horizon League Championship match.  Barhorst had 3 kills, 3 aces, 7 digs and 3 blocks in the Milwaukee championship match.  Barhorst started in 31 of the 34 matches and had 110 kills, 35 aces, 63 digs and was tied for best on the team with 117 blocks on the season.
Luke Bertke Princeton University Football (Marion Local) – Bertke is a reserve defensive lineman as a freshman for the Tigers which saw their record finish up at 4-6 overall with a 23-11 win over Dartmouth.  Bertke saw no action on the field in the his first season with the Tigers.
Alex Subler Ohio Northern University Football (Marion Local) – Bertke is a reserve offensive lineman as a sophomore for the 13th ranked Bears which finished the regular season at 8-2 overall and 7-2 in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 52-14 win over Wilmington.  Subler did not see any game action in any games this season.
Kara Monnin Case Western Reserve University Volleyball (Minster) – Monnin is the defensive specialist as a freshman for the Spartans which finished 24-9 overall and 5-6 in the UAA.  Monnin played in 24 out of the 33 matches and finished with 2 kills, 4 assists, 4 aces and 171 digs on the season.
Brigitte Sherman University of Dayton Cross Country (Minster) – Sherman is a starting runner as a Junior for the Flyers which finished their season with a 14th place finish out of 32 teams in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional at Terre Haute, Indiana. Sherman finished with a time of 23:27.54 in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional which was good for 5th place on her team and 126th overall.
Brad Sekas Ashland University Football (Minster) – Sekas is a reserve offensive lineman as a freshman for the Eagles which finished their season at 7-5 overall and 6-4 in the GLIAC with a 41-28 win over Findlay University.  Sekas saw no action on the field in 12 games.
Jaclyn Dabbelt Cleveland State University Volleyball (New Bremen) – Dabbelt is a reserve player as a freshman for the Vikings which finished the season with a record of 26-8 overall and 13-3 in the Horizon League with a 3-1 loss to Milwaukee in the Horizon League Championship match. Dabbelt did not see any action in the Milwaukee match and did not see any action the entire season.
Taylor Jones Maryland University Volleyball (New Bremen) – Jones is the reserve setter as a freshman for the Terps which won their final match against Boston College 3-0.  Maryland finished the season with a record of 14-19 overall and 6-14 in the ACC.  Jones had 9 setting assists and 3 digs coming off the bench in the win over Boston College.  Jones played in 32 matches in her first season and started 22 of those matches.  Jones finished up the season with 28 kills, 654 setting assists, 14 aces, 150 digs and 25 blocks.
Morgan Reineke Gannon University Volleyball (New Knoxville) – Reineke is the starting outside hitter as a freshman for the Golden Knights which finished their season at 22-9 and 13-6 in the PSAC with a loss in the PSAC Tournament to California, Pennsylvania.  Reineke had 8 kills, 9 digs, 0 aces and 1 block in the loss to California, Pennsylvania and she started 28 out of the 29 matches in her first season.  Reineke led the team in kills with 377 and had 220 digs, 49 blocks and 48 aces for the Golden Knights.
Marian Bevington Heidelberg University Volleyball (Parkway) – Bevington is playing at outside hitter as a freshman for the 19th ranked Berg which finished the season 27-8 and 8-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference as they bowed out of the NCAA Regionals with a loss to North Central.  Bevington had 10 kills, 1 ace, 5 blocks and 5 digs in the North Central match.  Bevington played in all 35 matches and started 8 of those matches in her first season.  Bevington had 216 kills, 17 aces, 61 digs and led the team with 82 blocks on the season.
Tyler Oliver Tiffin University Golf (Parkway) – Oliver is on the junior varsity team as a freshman for the Dragons.  No results were available.
Jordan Thompson Ohio University Football (Parkway) – Thompson is the starting tight end as a redshirt freshman for the Bobcats who finished up at 9-5 overall and 7-1 in the MAC after a 21-17 loss to Marshall in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.  Thompson started at tight end and he didn’t have a reception in the bowl game.  Thompson saw action in all 14 games this season and finished up with 7 catches for 109 yards on the season.
Brent Balster University of Findlay Football (St. Henry) – Balster is a reserve offensive lineman as a freshman for the Oilers which saw their record finish up at 7-4 overall and 6-4 in the conference with a 41-28 loss to Ashland.  Balster did not play in the Ashland game and saw limited action in 2 games this season.
Rachel Borgerding Capital University Volleyball (St. Henry) – Borgerding is a reserve setter as a freshman for the Crusaders which finished their season with a record of 16-15 overall and 5-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a loss to Otterbein in the OAC Tournament Quarterfinals.  Borgerding did not see any action this season.
Shelby Buschur Northern Kentucky University Volleyball (St. Henry) – Buschur is getting playing time for the Norse as a freshman middle hitter/outside hitter which finished up their season with a record of 20-12 overall and 10-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a season ending loss in the GLVC Tournament to Rockhurst.  Buschur had 3 kills and 2 blocks in the loss to Rockhurst.  Buschur played in all 32 matches off the bench and finished the season with 110 kills, 27 aces, 30 digs and 64 blocks.
Ryan Hartke Ball State University Football (St. Henry) – Hartke is a reserve tight end as a redshirt sophomore for the Cardinals who are at 2-10 and 2-6 in the MAC on the season as they finished up the season with a 22-17 win over Western Michigan.  Hartke played in 7 out of the 12 games on the season and started 5 games.  Hartke did not make a reception this season.
Kayla Lefeld Cleveland State University Volleyball (St. Henry) – Lefeld is a reserve outside hitter as a senior for the Vikings which finished the season with a record of 26-8 overall and 13-3 in the Horizon League with a 3-1 loss to Milwaukee in the Horizon League Championship match. Lefeld did not see any action in the Milwaukee match and played and started 1 match on the season in which she did not record any stats.
Brooke Mattingly University of Louisville Volleyball (St. Henry) – Mattingly is a reserve middle blocker as a freshman for the Cardinals which finished their season with a 21-11 overall and 10-4 in the Big East.  Louisville won the Big East Volleyball Championship as a 4 seed with a win over the #2 seeded Cincinnati.  Louisville then lost in the first round of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament to Minnesota.  Mattingly did not see any action in the Big East tournament or the NCAA Tournament and only saw action in one match all season and recorded no stats.

Andrew Puthoff Ball State University Football (St. Henry) – Puthoff is a reserve defensive end as a redshirt sophomore for the Cardinals who are at 2-10 and 2-6 in the MAC on the season as they finished up the season with a 22-17 win over Western Michigan.  Putthoff played but did not record a tackle in the win over Western Michigan.  Putthoff came off the bench in all 12 games and posted 6 tackles and 3.5 tackles for a loss on the season and also had 2 receptions for 29 yards in tight end duty.
Taylor Rindler Capital University Golf (St. Henry) – Rindler is a starting golfer as a freshman for the Crusaders which has played in 5 meets to date.  Rindler shot a 224 in the Pat Clouse Invitational which was good for a tie for 87th place and Capital finished 14th out of 17 teams.  Capital University’s girl’s golf team is now done with their fall matches and will pick back up in the spring on April 1st.
Eli Oliver Urbana University Football (Versailles) – Oliver started out the season as a starting offensive lineman, but due to an injury he finished up the season as a reserve as a junior for the Blue Knights which saw their record finish at 6-5 overall.  Oliver saw action in 8 games this season after sitting out 3 games due to an injury.
Mary Prakel U.S. Military Academy Cross Country (Versailles) – Prakel is a reserve runner as a freshman for the Black Knights which finished the season with an 18th place out of 35 teams in the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship in which Prakel did not run.  Prakel saw limited action in her freshman season and ran in four meets this season.
Kristen Schulte Xavier University Cross Country (Versailles) – Schulte is a runner as a freshman for the Musketeers which finished the season by placing 22nd out of 32 teams in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship in which Schulte did not run.  Schulte saw action in 2 meets this season and finished 26th and 39th in those meets.
Steve Winner University of Findlay Football (Versailles) – Winner is the starting tight end as a junior for the Oilers which saw their record finish up at 7-4 overall and 6-4 in the conference with a 41-28 loss to Ashland  Winner started and had 1 catch for 11 yards for a touchdown in the Ashland game.  Winner started 10 of the 11 games on the season and had a total of 8 catches for 91 yards and 2 touchdowns.
