The 2021 OHSAA Division VII Football State Final was hosted by Tom Benson Hall Of Fame Stadium, in Canton, on Saturday December 4, 2021, at 10:30 AM. The Marion Local Flyers defeated the Newark Catholic Green Wave 42-7. It was the Marion Local football program’s twelfth OHSAA football state title, all since 2000, they have won the most state championships in OHSAA football history. It was OHSAA team state championship number 144 for the Midwest Athletic Conference member schools and the 38th OHSAA football state championship for the Midwest Athletic Conference member schools.
